Train the Trainer Course - Working at a Biological Safety Cabinet

Have you ever wondered how to present a training on working at a biosafety cabinet? Do you know what you need to include in such a training? Are you aware of tools, equipment, exercises you may use in such a training? Have you got a script you can follow?

If you are not sure about any of the above questions or had to answer any of the above questions unfavourably, this course may be just the thing for you.

The course draws from your feedback over the last few years and the desire to learn more about training and how to conduct biosafety trainings at your institutions. This course will give you some general theoretical background on training based on our successful train-the-trainer course for biosafety professionals. Additionally, it will delve deeply into the intricate details of working at a biosafety cabinet. You will be presented with a script including a number of protocols you may use for subsequent trainings at your institution and show you a number of tools and exercises you may use for your trainings.

Deadline for registration is January 3rd 2020.

We reserve the right to cancel the course should there be less than 6 people registered.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellations of registrations for workshops or meetings are at all times possible via our website (member section) or via an email confirming the cancellation to the following address: swissbiosafety@wildapricot.org. Refunds may however only be issued as follows: up until the deadline for registration 80% of the registration fee; following the deadline no refunds will be granted. The deadline is at midnight of the day stated in the event announcement. The time stamp of the email arrival will decide whether the cancellation arrived in time. Following cancellation, contact the SBNet office (swissbiosafety@wildapricot.org) and provide your bank details in order for the SBNet to initiate the refund via bank transfer.
