The 17th Applied Biosafety Meeting will take place over two days in Basel on August 24th/25th 2023.

As a first, we will this year organise pre-conference visits to either Skan or SwissTPH for a limited number of people. Places are limited to members only (must be registered for the conference). A separate registration is required and tickets may be obtained through our website.

We will organise a conference dinner for August 24th 2023. Details will be published here in due time. Costs for the dinner are CHF 70 which includes a three course meal and non-alcoholic beverages. The menu may be downloaded here in due time.
Please be aware that registration for the dinner is required. Dinner tickets may be obtained through our website (two separate registrations are required for the conference and the dinner).
Should demand arise, we will upload information regarding hotels in due time.

Cancellations of registrations for workshops or meetings are at all times possible via our website (member section) or via an email confirming the cancellation to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds may however only be issued as follows: up until the deadline for registration 80% of the registration fee; following the deadline no refunds will be granted. The deadline is at midnight of the day stated in the event announcement. The time stamp of the email arrival will decide whether the cancellation arrived in time. Following cancellation, contact the SBNet office (email@example.com) and provide your bank details in order for the SBNet to initiate the refund via bank transfer.
